Working with local businesses, venues and individuals, they collect single-use soft plastics and turn them into reusable items.The company&#39;s hyper-local interactive approach fosters a blueprint for a sustainable behaviour shift around waste, replicable in any community. Looply is on a mission is to make sustainable practices engaging, accessible, and tangible through open-access DIY and customisation tools, public workshops, and collection services.From January to November 2024, they collected over 24kg of plastics in Hackney.

Stephen Liu is a graphic branding designer, fashion designer, rock musician and fine artist based between London, Tokyo, Rome, and Beijing. He blends Asian heritage with cultural influences from China, Japan, the UK and Italy to create a unique design language. His work fuses Western punk rebellion with Eastern poetic philosophy, resulting in humble yet aggressive, elegant yet unusual creations. He achieves his unique monochromatic aesthetic through mixed media techniques.

Hannah Kelly, also known as Littlebookofdoodles, is a self-employed artist currently based in the North East of England. She specialises in colourful ceramics and light art pieces. Her work is inspired by abstracting the everyday and is a mix of functional and decorative pieces. Pieces are often submitted for collective display and have been shown in various locations across the UK.

Every year the UK produces 250,000 tonnes of spent coffee grounds. On reaching landfill, they break down and generate methane, a gas with global warming potential about 80 times greater than that of carbon dioxide during the 20 years after its release into the atmosphere.ReRoasted is a design research project that develops new ways of working with spent coffee grounds in ceramics. The result is a collection of laminated coffee cups designed with a layer of coffee clay between two layers of standard clay. These lightweight cups have insulative properties, use less extractive material, and require less energy in the firing process.

Magdalena Gluszak-Holeksa is an artist and designer. She is passionate about the ways creativity can be incorporated within the design process as a way of questioning, reflecting and expressing. In her approach to project development, she often tests ideas using analogue techniques and employs design tools such as experimental typography, hand-drawn illustration, and minimalism in the visual solutions.

Isobel Wiles is the founder of <a href="http://closhapp.com/">CloSh</a>. As a passionate advocate for sustainable fashion, Isobel believes in the power of collective action to drive positive change. CloSh began as her graduate degree project, earning her First Class honours and setting the foundation for her entrepreneurial journey. Since then, Isobel has been awarded a £15,000 grant alongside tailored coaching and mentorship from Innovate UK and was selected to be part of the first cohort of founders on UAL’s startup Incubator, Grow (now Greenhouse). As a self-taught mobile app developer and a specialist in clothes-sharing behaviours, Isobel single-handedly built the initial version of CloSh, reflecting her dedication to innovation and sustainability.

Sounteract addresses the question, &#39;How might we make scrolling behaviour more mindful?&#39; It uses sound experience as an intervention to help users find physical and digital life balance and activate their senses beyond the screen. This works by by catching the users&#39; attention, and cultivating mindfulness in the passing of time. Sounteract creates an ambient environment at home and fosters a multi-sensory lifestyle that extends beyond smartphones.

Svitlana Reinish, a Ukrainian art director, theatre designer, and media artist, seamlessly blends classical art education with new media.She creates projection mapping artworks and visuals for theatre and concerts. As a VJ, she works across a range of musical genres, from electronic to classical, and participates in light and music festivals worldwide. She also designs and art directs exhibition spaces.Svitlana&#39;s theatre career began with creating visuals for operas and ballets and later expanded into stage and costume design.In 2024, Svitlana presented her artwork Soloveiko to King Charles during Eurovision.

Genaro Alberto Rivas Ravelo is a Peruvian entrepreneur and self-taught fashion designer based in London. He believes in fashion with purpose and the power of fashion to develop the lives of others. In a recent project, he collaborated with artisans in Peru on crafting a collection inspired by his own migration experiences. He designs freely, researching new methods, and communities, keeping sustainability, ethics and decolonialism in mind. Experimentation is at the centre of his creative process, which he sees as a work of art under constant construction.

She draws inspiration from organic shapes and textures in nature, focusing on imperfections like damaged or insect-eaten plants. Her work highlights the beauty in these natural &quot;flaws&quot;, transforming discarded materials into beautiful and sustainable wearable art, celebrating the elegance found in nature.

CERA is a passive air filtration system made from recycled ceramics as a retrofit solution in existing architecture.It&#39;s inspired by how heavy the air feels in the underground train network. The team discovered that the pollution levels in the network are worryingly high, so high in fact, that every 20 minutes you spend in the underground is the equivalent of smoking an entire cigarette. They started looking at solutions to this problem, which could then be applied to enclosed environments with pollutants and particulate matter all around the world.

I am a London based image maker, stylist and visual artist. My practice focuses on conceptual narratives presented from an auto-ethnographic lens. I utilise the medium of analogue photography and engage in performance to create raw, authentic images. Post-graduation, I aim to develop my practice in creative image-making, continuing to work closely with my longtime collaborator, Max Lily.

Originally from Hungary, Anna has nearly a decade of education focused on art and shoe design. Her innovative approach has garnered recognition in the footwear industry. Her illustrations accompanied her designs until the beginning of 2024 when she created a series of greetings cards. Sustainability is always involved in her footwear designs and professional role. She wishes to continue this sustainable approach in her illustration and animation work as well.

Yunjie&#39;s art, addressing themes of feminism and societal structures, has been internationally recognised and exhibited. Utilising porcelain, she crafts symbols of femininity, embedding ancient wisdom and contemporary resistance in her pieces, aiming to provoke reflection, inspire change, and celebrate femininity&#39;s power.

&#39;Fertility, Crime, and Economy&#39; is a strategy simulation game developed by indie games and media arts studio, Eventide Birds.In this game, the player becomes the governor of the Province of Alva, tasked with the role of increasing the fertility rate, while putting the government budget and the crime rate into consideration. The core gameplay involves creating and implementing various policies, and managing and negotiating with different groups. Each policy decision affects residents&#39; lives, changing their life trajectories and making every round different.
