This work is a photograph which explains the scene of my canarybot seeing a dandelion.

This project investigates human-AI interaction and trust dynamics through the creation of an interactive Kendama training robot.
 
Inspired by the story of the canary in the coal mine, the robot integrates Arduino and Raspberry Pi for gesture recognition and emotional responses. Utilizing Mediapipe&#39;s gesture recognition model, the robot interprets personalized commands and adapts to the user’s mood and actions, enhancing hand-eye coordination through interactive training.

The Money Trees project aims to increase the value and autonomy of urban trees in London, reducing the likelihood of their removal. By utilising community art, activism and technology to transform how we economically value trees, thereby reducing the chances of them being cut down.

Airbnbreathe is a speculative breathing experience set within the context of first-class air travel, exploring the implications of commodifying air in a world grappling with air pollution. Airbnbreathe imagines a near future where air becomes a commodity, set within the existing environment of first-class air travel, highlighting the global issue of air pollution and its subsequent impact on human health.

Should we trust AI to interpret our stories or create narratives, despite its potential flaws in translating gender and sexuality?
 
Queer history often lacks imagery when referring to past centuries. Despite historical struggles for freedom to express love within the community, evidence of these stories exists through love letters. My Dear Boy is a collection of love stories from the last century. In this work, the letters are used to visualise how AI filters and reads gender and sexuality.
 
My Dear Boy, taking the form of a book—archive, critiques, and visually analyses the flaws of AI technology. It highlights assumptions and stereotypes that current western societies continue to propagate, now even through the lens of artificial intelligence.

NomCatchWink The Playformance is a camera and body recognition-based gamified experience addressing the performative behaviours on social media.
 
Social media platforms are a collection of digital performances in the form of videos, pictures, and texts, that are traded for emotional reactions and quick dopamine. In NomCatchWink: The Playformance, I use gamification, body recognition and playful design with a dash of irony to address (and criticise) the performative behaviours on social media. The project aims to spark critical thinking about the performative nature of online spaces, while disrupting and subverting the way we create and share those online performances.

The project is a street sticker that allows people to leave their voice on the streets. The stickers have an NFC chip (a micro- chip that reacts to a smartphone) built into them, and users simply tap the sticker onto their smartphone, enter their voice from the website and place the sticker on their favourite or memorable location. The remaining stickers can similarly be played back with a tap on the smartphone to play back the voice. Every sticker is also given a unique ID, allowing users to see on a map which sticker has which voice registered and where it has been left.

Cause and Effect is a speculative and interactive design project that explores the Tibetan Buddhist theory of cause and effect, the connection and entanglement between good and evil, and reincarnation. Discuss the changes brought about by cause and effect, and use real-time AI to build a cause-and-effect cycle interactive interface, allowing the audience to control and observe the changes under different karma proportions and the interaction of the cause-and-effect cycle in real time, bringing the audience into the world of cause and effect. Allows the audience to consider how different karmic changes in life affect the growth and development of individuals and goals.

With the help of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, Echo Realm allows you to have a conversation with your deceased loved one transcending time and space. Recovering voice and intonation, Echo Realm allow users to build a shared spiritual world with their deceased relatives which can be updated and revisited anytime and anywhere. Beyond a platform, Echo Realm is an infinitely expanded virtual space.

The recent rise in deepfake technology is threatening society through disrupting our trust and beliefs. Revelation is a critical project questioning our ideology around datasets used to train Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLM’s) such as ChatGPT. How does changing the face of technology change our faith in what it may say to us?
