This project is centered around themes of identity and the challenges of growing up where the artist had drawn from personal experiences and created mannequin body pieces using ABS plastic with each piece in a different colour.“The final visuals of this work are truly impactful, compelling the viewer to take a second look. Putting on a brave face

The project is divided into two parts. The first part is a hand-made book called Dance of Lakes and the River. It is a personal exploration of the artist&#39;s Finnish and Gambian heritage. The second part, We Connect as Ocean, is a continuation of the book, a fashion story harnessing the visual language of Dance of Lakes and the River. &quot;Kadi’s exploration of expression through a mixed-race lens brings a fresh perspective to portraiture, one that feels both familiar and nostalgic to me. This project aims to make wellness more accessible for POC and oppressed people through the creation of community and offerings such as the Reminder dictionary.&quot;I love Ronni’s idea of creating a dictionary of affirmations paired with playlists. R4L: Reminders4Life

This collection explores aspects of youth culture in the North and South of England while celebrating and questioning themes such as nostalgia and class.“Marichelle’s take on youth culture, focusing on terrace and estate fashion, celebrates the community and heritage often overlooked. English Nostalgia

This project aims to fill the knowledge gap around textured hair through qualitative data analysis of consumer hair management practices, identification of themes related to products and processes to ensure consumer relevance. “The beauty of how this work is documented is stunning, but beyond the visuals, it highlights the knowledge gaps in the beauty and cosmetic industry that affect a global majority.
