In my final two projects I look at ways of using animation in storytelling to connect audiences on a shared understanding of what the future could be. In my work I explore how animation functions as a tool for storytelling. The first film 'The Machine Stops' is a retelling of the Novel by E.M Forster, a look into a world where the surface of earth is no longer habitable by the wrongdoings of humanity, creating a society that lives underground in total isolation. My second film 'WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT' is a series of interviews asking the general public about there outlook and opinions on what the future holds, animated as a series of interviews with robots on a night in a dystopian city.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT
A look into peoples thoughts on the future, from the future. In this project I did a series of interviews with the general public asking about there outlook and opinions on what the future holds, animated as a series of interviews with robots on a night in a dystopian city.
