My visceral multidisciplinary practice explores and expresses sensitivity in material surfaces.
That is expressed in changing textures of material.
Building bones and skeletons out of metal. Steching skin over skeleton. Streching skeleton over skin. Making hard solid shell translucent and soft like skin.
Artwork explores new ways of unity, communication. I works intuitively with myths and materials, expressing and mapping textures. Dually, I intend to trace the mind’s experiences as they are reflected and seen in bodies. I create connections between natural creatures and materials through tactile sensitivity, amalgamated in unseen combinations as a form of relation , to explore, to understand the unknown. The unfamiliar or hidden brought to light, made common. My methods of research lead to innovative ways of merging various artistic mediums and transforming experiences that are depicted in objects and installation.
Wide range of material knowledge and expression allows to experiment and create connections and transformations in unusual unseen ways expressed sculpturally in garment, textiles and painting , defining new norms and opposites of material as context of an object. Animism and mysticism emphasises transformational process of objects and their semiotics. Work as a play, as a trap , the idea of trap and shelter being the same as if we cannot notice the difference sometimes. The amalgamation of both, of the opposites, like a mirror shows indefinite truth of an object.
Ideas expressed in artworks create connection with modern human living tendencies and nature, animals, traditions, tangible risks and contrasts that are dangerous and sheltering at the same time allow us to expirience connection trough contrast and unknown.
