currents is a deconstructed publication that follows the personal exploration of identity in postcolonial Hong Kong, an inquiry into my relationship with the city's colonial history. The book is an encapsulation of both my personal voice as well as narratives of other Hong Kongers across generations, told through illustrations, anecdotes and interviews, coming together to become a physical artefact of the voices in the city.
