UFO Club 2066 is inspired by The UFO Club. Since the London club was only open from 1966-1967, I imagined what it would be like if it relaunched 100 years later in 2066. The images have cyber / psychedelic themes and heavily reference the ‘UFO’ part of the name. UFO Club is known to have projected swirling patterns or avant-garde films onto the walls of the club, so in some of the images you can see projections on the model’s skin. LSD was particularly prevalent at the club so in a few photos models have dilated pupils and out of the ordinary imagery has been used to convey hallucinations.
