Sera Gokturk

The project is about melting in the moment, every moment creates its harmonies. The whole project used symbols to give that feeling such as birds flying in harmony and sharing the moment. And when you feel the moment, time is forgotten. Like peacocks showing their feathers as just being themselves. In experiencing "Melting Moments," one is invited to let go of the notion of time. As the moments unfold, there's a profound sense of timelessness, where past and future fade into insignificance, and only the present moment remains. It's a journey of surrendering to the beauty of now, where worries dissipate, and a profound sense of peace washes over the soul. The project has also multiple perspectives and symbols such as water and water rings or seashell, which is memories and capsules which we keep inside. I used all of this as inspiration when I was creating fabrics and color scales and their fabric patterns.
