Rey's practice seeks to undermine ideas of masculinity by questioning our understanding of cultural norms in patriarchal societies. He employs the body and space to explore notions of identity, queerness, architecture and our relationship with the natural environment.

ā€‹His practice is wide ranging, comprising ephemeral installation, performance, film, painting and drawing.

His work, Colective Cuddles has been selected for New Contemporaries 2023, and will be part of the travelling exhibition starting at Grundy Art Gallery, Blackpool, opening in September, and Camden Art Centre, which will open in January 2024.
