Dengjie Yang

I am often drawn to toys, games, anime and stories from everyday life as sources of inspiration for my practice. My work forms a comedic narrative visual world and allows me to achieve psychological balance. In Untitled 2, I've focused on fragmented narratives. In this work, I have been able to see the potential for different works to merge and eventually form new images with new meanings, ultimately allowing me to see how fragmentation/fragmented information has changed my work within a convergence culture.
