My final project ‘Becoming Me’ helps educate children ages 10-13 about the topics they have heard online or in the playground but are refused to be taught in Relationship, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) lessons. These four laminated workbooks are reusable, interactive and important. An accompanying free interactive website holds links to downloadable worksheets for children, parents or teachers as well as worksheet answers, more information and a glossary.
With the current re-evaluation of RSHE content there is no time like the present to push important subjects such as gender, sexuality, female pleasure and consent into the curriculum. It seems that Government professionals are resistant to include topics like these into classroom resources, however my project shows just how simply they can be introduced. Considering explicit content is becoming much more accessible to children online it is imperative we contribute free resources to help distinguish between fact and fiction before information is misinterpreted. These books have been based entirely around questions from real children and approved by real teachers.

Becoming Me - Website and Workbook Walkthrough
A quick run through of the website and workbook connection via QR codes. This shows just how easy it is for children to access the answers, free worksheets and a glossary. The bright colours and interactive nature of the website makes it very appealing and a fun and exciting experience for the target demographic.
