The artworks delve into the portrayal of women through the artist's unique perspective, focusing on the female gaze. Its primary objective is to critically examine the pervasive issue of objectifying women by deconstructing the female visage. Through an innovative blend of cubist creative techniques and the use of fetishistic fashion materials like latex and leather, the artist carefully reconstructs female faces, showcasing their unique qualities. The resulting series of static artworks eloquently capture dynamic transformations.
Engaging with the series, viewers witness a noticeable metamorphosis. Initially akin to containers perpetuating objectification, the artworks evolve into symbolic totem poles. These totem poles transcend their initial role, embodying the profound concept of the worship of women. This transformative journey actively opposes and prevents the objectification of women, reshaping the narrative into a celebration and deep reverence for women's inherent strength and beauty. The project challenges existing norms and provides a visual discourse encouraging a shift from objectification to empowerment and appreciation for the multifaceted essence of womanhood.
